The company seems to following up this week with another generous offer to benefit Southern California fire victims. In a press release, the company announced that AT&T's Wi-Fi service, available at over 600 locations throughout Southern California, will be offered free of charge and without restrictions to help those affected by the wildfires.
"Through the coming weeks" residents and travelers are encouraged to visit any these hot spots for free Wi-Fi service 24 hours a day. Any Wi-Fi-enabled device, including cell phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and laptops, can be used to connect to the Internet or corporate networks in locations across Riverside, San Diego, San Bernadino, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Orange, and Ventura counties.
You can get a complete listing of all the hot spot locations here, which you'll find mainly in places like McDonald's, Barnes & Noble, Coffee Bean, and some hotels and airports.
