Clip-on...Earphones?

Love it or hate it?

There have been many crossovers between fashion and technology. Take for example the Swapsets concept. The idea is to integrate a headset or earphones into a fashionable fabric headband women wear to pull their hair back. They can also add dangles to it, or choose a different fabric to match their outfit. It's a great idea for the fashion conscious divas.

Korea's Aving News has discovered another fashion tech-accessory that has left me cold. Why? Because I can't handle clip-on earrings. They give me headaches, but it may be a great idea for those of you who have managed to overcome the clip-on earring pain.  Earmecca is responsible for such a brave move in earphone fashion. The EP series earring-earphones have an adjustable clip right below the colorful earphone, and the clips are available in ten different designs such as stars, crosses, hearts and pearls.

Sorry gals, they appear to be only available in Korea at the moment, but rest assured these earrings will eventually make their way to the States.

So what do you think? Do you love it or hate?

clip on earrings are so painful if they were wireless that would be 1 million times better you wouldnt pull of your ear. it would be cool if they made ones to go through your ear piercing but that might get painful. these r cool for keeping earphones in place but a fashion statement? if you want to look like a robot.

Dumb idea. I mean who really cares if you have earing-headphones? No wonder other countries look at us as selfish brats. Instead of spending money on crap, give your money to the people who are hungry here. There is always something better to do with your money. shees.

I think they are adorable and it is a great idea. I hate the earphones that go inside a person's ear because they always fall out for me when I am exercising. The headband earphones fall off when I am running. I hope the clip-on earphones stay secure, I cannot wait until they come to the US!

i think it is just plain stupid!!i mean what person would put on a clip on earing and headphones there are other safer headphones out there. and they should at least make it so the bar doesn't show!!

They may not be great for your hearing, but it looks great for when you're bouncing around, like runners do. I know that when I run I like to listen to music, but everytime I take a stride the ear phone falls out. I can handle a little annoying pain on my earlobe if it means I won't have to keep pushing the little buggers back into my ear. As for fashion, it doesn't look amazing, but it's fairly pretty : ) *Love it.

They are CLIP ON earings...I dont think you are going to rip your ear off if they get 'snagged' on something. I personally can't stand when people walk around in circles appearing as if talking to themselves b/c you can't see their ear peice in. Its just annoying and kinda weird. I made my boyfriend get rid of his bluetooth....this is the name of it right?

i-pod earphones are the sexiest headphones out there. not only are they sleek and white (to go with anything you might be wearing) but also theres the apple i-pod name that goes with that. the fashion conscious are always looking for a way to be noticed. buy an ipod.

THESE WILL TAKE OFF LIKE WILDFIRE!!!!! INSTEAD OF ASSAULTS FOR NIKES/GOLD JEWELRY/ETC. - THIS WILL BE THE CAUSE OF THE NEXT WAVE OF VIOLENCE IN SCHOOLS & ON THE STREETS...... HOW SAD FOR SUCH AN INTERESTING IDEA. HOPE THEY ARE AFFORDABLE SO THIS ISN'T SUCH A PROBLEM.

I'm sure it would work for some people, but what about those of us who wear earrings already? Go around with only one, or none at all? Not happening for this fashion-conscious (and jewelry loving) diva! A good beginning concept. Keep working.

I can't imagine paying much for them. I too have no tolerance for clip ear rings. THEY HURT TOO MUCH! Add to that the extra weight of the ear bud and I just think not. Cool idea, but I'll bet it was a man who has never tried to wear clip ons!

i think the idea is too weird for the US. but i'm sure the Koreans will go wild for it. plus clip on earrings are too painful. i don't know how my grandmother wore them for 50 years.

ONLY IF THEY WERE BLACK OR PINK...Then i would think about using them

Uh, yeah...these will be HOT! I read where people talk about them getting snagged, and that being a problem. Have you seen the stuff people put on, and in, their face? With the popularity of the I-Pod (and other portables,) small things, and body jewelry, I think there is a high likelihood that these (or some variant) will catch on.

An absolutely beautiful idea to make a fashion statement. It's also ideal for guys that like to wear jewlery, such as , rock-n-rollers. I like the headband concept as well. Earmecca should bring this new technology to the U.S. in the 4th quarter of the current fiscal year to make a lasting impression on the folks her in America.
