There are a few ways to recycle your cell phone, so check with Recycle Wireless Phones for a list of participating companies willing to take those wireless devices off your hands. Sprint, T-Mobile, Cingular, and Verizon all collect handsets and accessories to either recycle or refurbish them to help those that are less fortunate.
If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, CrunchGear says you can take your old computers and monitors to Microsoft's Silicon Valley campus; the company will be accepting donations until 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 15. If you don't live in Silicon Valley, you might want to check in your area for organizations or retailers supporting America Recycles Day.
