I usually take along a few personal items when I go out jogging, so after testing out the Spibelt by Overton Fitness, I can't imagine a better place for my stash. This belt is especially useful for marathon runners or even travelers who want to keep important items or gadgets accessible.

The Spibelt is not like any other fanny pack, though. The belt holds a small, expandable pocket able to accommodate several items including an iPhone or an iPod, a set of keys, credit cards, and/or even a compact digital camera when traveling. The site says it won't bounce, ride, or shift when you run, and I can attest to that. I've taken it with me several times on runs, and if you don't overfill it with heavy stuff, you won't even notice it's there. It's so handy, I prefer to store my credit card and keys in it when heading to the supermarket or the coffee shop.

The belt is available in many colors, and it's great for both men and women. It's adjustable, so a couple could probably share the medium-large belt, which only costs about $20. I think the Spibelt is a must-have for anyone who prefers to travel light.  Who knows, maybe the Spibelt will inspire a fanny pack comeback. What do you think? Leave it or love it?

Definitely a good idea for running but for running to the grocery store? I don't think so.

In some communities a fanny pack is assumed by police & many citizens to be a concealed-carry holster. The Spibelt looks like a good solution to avoid that perception.

Save your $$. It isn't made half as well as other items like it and it moves on a woman's body causing chafing during long endurance races like marathons or triathlons. A waste of $20. Buy Under Armour. You almost always get a built-in zipper pouch and the best workout wear out there all in one, without the chafing!

LOVE IT & TRULY WORKS! i just bought this SPIBELT at Disney for the Disney Mini Marathon weekend, and used it during my Go Red 5K and for road biking right after and it worked like a charm. It's very compact, so you don't think it can fit everything, but it can and does. I placed, my credit card/license, cash, cell phone, and keys. the whole time i never felt it swing up or down at all, it was tight. the belt is adjustable and so I got it M-L, so that I can share it with my husband whom also runs. It's a great investment. Buy it, you will not regret it. CB Orlando, FL
