If you're a cat owner, you know the worst part of being a kitty Mom is cleaning up after them. I dread it every day, but I grudgingly do it, not only because I have too, but also because I want a healthy cat.
I've thought about buying the LitterMaid automatic litter pan you can find at any store, but they're not enclosed, and I'm not fond of having litter all over the floor. Besides, I've read some discouraging reviews from LitterMaid users.
Today I found what I think may be the perfect solution for both of us: the Litter-Robot. The Flash animation on the site gives you an idea of how this spherical Litter-Robot rotates seven minutes after every visit, sifting through litter to expel the waste into a lined drawer under the globe.
About.com's Franny Syufy has an in-depth how-it-works review of the litter globe, which was tested by her four cats. The skittish one of the bunch was intimidated by the automated sifting but seemed to be curious after his housemates tried it out.
A $300 litter box is not for everyone—even though they have a three-payment option—but busy cat owners will enjoy having peace of mind during business trips and will surely have one fewer daily chore to worry about. I know I'd love that.
If a robot can wash and vacuum your floor, it's about time cat owners got a little help too. I don't know, I'm a little tempted, so help me out here....
Cat owners, what do you think? Would you get one?

LOL, that would be a problem. Well the site says it waits seven minutes before it begins to turn. Poor kitty if he's still in there doing his business when it turns.
I would get one. I have been looking for something that would make it easier. I love my two cats. I make sure that the litter box is clean every day. And the water dish and the food bowls are washed daily. We treat our babies like they are our kids. We really appreciate you taking the time to show us that it can be easier. Yes I think that it is worth it. And people will buy this type of litter box. Thank-you and have a nice day!
I have one of the LitterMaid automatic cat boxes. Complete with a "cabana" cover so my Cat doesn't throw litter everywhere and has some privacy. Most automatic cat boxes have a sensor and a saftey mechanism on them. For instance the one I use waits 10 minutes before running the rake through the sand and cleaning the box. If my cat happens to still be in the box the rake hits him in the butt and then immediately retracts back and waits another ten minutes. Although it is funny to see him jump when it happens. He is still getting used to the robot potty.
well as a cat owner myself i dread cleaning the box but i dont have alot of money just to spend like that, however i would go days without eating if it means i wouldnt have to clean that darn thing out every single day.

well,it seems too complicated with all the turning and twisting. What if a cat stayedin there while there was a process.
