Most Expensive Earbuds Ever Cost $6,400

Heyerdahl Jewelers is dazzling the ladies again with more iDiamond creations. Earlier this year, the store crafted the world's most expensive diamond-covered iPod Shuffle valued at $41,000, and donated it to a charity auction set to take place in March 2008 in London. The stunning clip-on iPod Shuffle is set with 430 diamonds and is accompanied by a pair of earbuds covered in 118 diamonds total. While the iDiamond Shuffle was a one-time design, the company is now ready to go commercial with a follow-up piece it calls the iDiamond ear.

iDiamond ear is dipped in 18-carat gold, and set with a total of 204 blinding diamonds. The earbuds will be produced as a limited-edition series of 1,000 numbered pairs that will be sold exclusively at the jewelry store. iDiamond will be available February 2008, just in time for Valentine's Day.
