It's impossible to notice all the smaller things at CES like USB drives, but Kingston's Data Traveler Style flash drive turned a few heads thanks to its many fun customizable options. The DataTraveler Style USB Flash drive comes with six very different skins to choose from (redhead mosaic, bamboo, sunflower, lace, retro, and tangerine dream), but if you don't like any of the styles, two blank skins are included so you can create your own unique design. Skins are made of stiff paper, so you don't have to worry about peeling vinyl stickers from your drive anytime you want to change its look. The Data Traveler is only available in black or white, so it's up to you to spice things up if you want to stand out from the crowd.
I love the capless design, and since a thumb-action slider exposes the USB connector, you don't have to worry about losing the cap. It's a nice touch, and one that makes it easier to share your photos or music with friends when you're on-the-go. It's available in 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB capacities, and prices range from $9 to $85 depending on size. Hey, it's all about personalizing your gadgets, and I'm glad Kingston gets it.

You can also find customizable usb flash pen drives at MemorySuppliers.com. Thousands of these custom flash drives were given out at CES 2008 as the ultimate promotional item. I personally received one as well.
