Valentine's Day is right around the corner, so expect to see pink and red gadgets everywhere, because as you may have noticed when cute pink gadgets aren't being used to promote a worthy cause like Breast Cancer Awareness, they're used to increase sales during the month of love and friendship.

This year, Apple is adding a new color to its iPod collection to celebrate the upcoming holiday. The company just released a pink colored iPod nano that will only be available in an 8GB capacity, and which will set you back about $199. Nothing else has really changed, so if you've been jonesing for a pink iPod nano, now is the time to buy one—or wait for Prince Charming to buy it for you.

Last year, the (PRODUCT) RED iPod nano was a big hit on Valentine's Day, so I'm guessing the company wants to follow up with an equally endearing pink iPod that (unfortunately) won't be supporting any good causes like Breast Cancer or AIDS Awareness.
