Valentine's Day is a very popular holiday, but many of us wait until the last minute to pick up flowers or a sweet gift for our loved ones. If you've been procrastinating, then you better get going because time is running out. Here are a few last minute ideas to help you make an impression on Valentine's Day along with those flowers:

Say it on video: Sending video to someone is easier than ever, so if you really want to be romantic, create a heartfelt videogram for your sweetie. Dare to be creative by writing a poem, playing a song, or just tell that special someone how you feel. Most cell phones today have video capabilities, so they're perfect for sending that special someone a more private video you don't want to share with the whole world.

Get mushy: I'm not a fan of traditional e-cards, but some e-cards are too fun to pass up. MushyGushy.com is a flash-based e-card site that has lots of tools you can use to can create a fun personalized card. The best part is you can upload a photo then cut and paste your head onto animated characters. They've included ways to adjust skin tones, rotate, zoom, and cut your photos to eliminate the funkiness that comes with transplanting your head onto an animated character. All the cards are free, and sent via email.

E-Cards with bite: Not everyone has a special someone to celebrate Valentine's with, so for them, there are sites like Meish.org. These guys are completely anti-Valentine's Day and are very funny. On the other hand, if you love celebrity gossip and want to send some fun cards to friends, check out Hipster Cards. They have e-cards that inject a little cynicism into the romantic laden day with cartoons of Tom Cruise, Paris Hilton, and Tara Reid. These cards are hilarious and oh so Hollywood.

SMS love notes: Valentine's Day falls on a working day this year, but that doesn't mean you can't send your special someone a string of SMS or IM love notes while they work hard for the money. This year, shower them with flirty text messages throughout the day to set the mood for a romantic evening together. Here are a few sweet SMS codes you'll need to learn first:

2G2BT = Too good to be true
ADCTD 2 LUV = Addicted to love
