Mandy Moore Wants You To Be Daring

Would you be able to turn off your gadgets for a whole week? That's one of the many challenges found in a new website called UPumpItUp.com, which aims at helping women balance their lives and inspire each other. The new women-centric community is sponsored by Crystal Light and is endorsed by Mandy Moore along with other wellness experts who hope to challenge women to connect, express, inspire, and explore new things.

Members of this community are encouraged to step outside their comfort zone by taking on new challenges like conquering a fear, starting a blog, learning a new language, going solo, or just creating new challenges of their own. Each wellness expert shares a story of their own on the site to inspire others. For example, Mandy herself says going on vacation alone was a big step for her, but ended up having the most incredible time doing it. She tells Reuters that her adventure alone was so peaceful and empowering.

I read through some of the challenges, and they all sound like fun. Each open challenge has a certain number of members and a forum where they can leave words of encouragement for others. It's still a new site, so participation is not exactly high, but if you're looking for new challenge and new friends, this would be a good place to start.
