I'm sure Craigslisters like myself have found out the hard way how important bookmarking posts is lest they want to waste precious time clicking through individual posts. This is all due to the lack of an image preview feature on the site, which makes searching Craigslist time consuming and cumbersome at times.

Lucky for you, I found a solution over at Download Squad that will ease the image preview frustration for Craiglisters once and for all. If you're a Firefox user, download this new Firefox extension called Craigslist Image Preview. The add-on can be easily installed in your browser, and once installed, it allows you to view thumbnails of images in the post without having to click on each ad. A cool hover effect allows you to see a bigger image of the thumbnail anytime you place your mouse over it saving you even more time.

Download Squad also recommends another free extension called CLPicView, which was also released this week. Looks like both do pretty much the same thing, although they may have problems with the beta versions of the upcoming Firefox 3 browser.

If you have Firefox, try it out, and come back to tell us how you liked it.

nice, but if you have a sluggish internet connection, expect slow results.

Holy cow, that's awesome. Thanks. I use Craigslist a bunch and this makes looking at items way easier. A friend told me about a new search engine or search idea that looks kind of cool. Could you check it out and post your thoughts on the idea? It's at www.webkruz.com. Thanks
