Most of us gals have a love/hate relationship with pink gadgets, but perhaps
we can put all our differences aside to help a noble cause like finding a cure
for breast cancer. Breast cancer awareness month is not until October, but as
you know some companies get a headstart in the summer in order to meet their
goals. The first product on the scene is from OtterBox who teamed up the Avon
Breast Cancer Crusade in order to raise money for women with breast cancer in
need of medical treatment and other support.
The OtterBox for iPhone Defender Series Strength case is not just another pretty pink cover, but a protective case that shields the phone against bumps and drops. Unlike most iPhone cases, this one actually protects the iPhone's touchscreen with a thin film, and makes all the iPhone's ports accessible so you can sync and charge the phone without taking it out of the case.
A case for the 3rd Gen iPod Nano is also available and includes access to the click wheel, ports, and screen which is still protected by a thin film. The iPod Nano case will retail for $30, while the iPhone case will sell for $50, with ten percent of the purchase going to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade.
