Camcorders are becoming extremely affordable. If you want one that's easy to use, doesn't require tape or cables, and is as small as your iPod you have a few options available.

Pure Digital's Ultra Flip, Creative's Vado, and RCA's Small Wonder all come to mind because they're all very similar in size and price, but if you're looking for a pocket camera that has a memory card slot, check out the new crop of RCA Small Wonder camcorders.

Four YouTube-ready camcorders are being released this summer, including one that will cater to HD enthusiasts. All four pocket camcorders are bundled with a built-in version of Memory Manager software so you can edit and share videos via YouTube, as well as a feature called EZ Grab that allows users to save any frame in the video as a JPG image. Other features included are flip-out LCD displays for self-recording, retractable USB connectors, and expansion slots.

To give you a better idea of what's new, here's a quick overview of the features you'll find in each camcorder:

1. Small Wonder EZ300HD: This top-of-the-line high definition camcorder has a 2.4 inch LCD display, features 2GB of internal memory, expansion slot, is 720p (1280 x 720), and is optimized for low-light recording. Pricing and availability for this one is not out yet, but I'll keep you posted.

2. Small Wonder EZ210 Traveler: This camcorder is designed for vacationers, so it includes a removable carrying clip, shock-proof battery contacts, a 2GB SD card, 2.4-inch QVGA display, and will be available in two-tone black and red. Expect to pay $150 for this travel companion.

3. Small Wonder EZ200 MyLife: Not as fancy as the two cameras mentioned before, but if you're just uploading video to YouTube, this should do just fine. The MyLife camcorder is only available in black, has a flip-out 1.5-inch display, and ships with 1GB microSD card for 30 minutes of near DVD quality recording. It does have a memory card slot, so you can increase the storage capacity to up to 8GB. It will retail for $89.99, and you can even buy skins from SkinIt to personalize it.

4.Small Wonder EZ205 Pocket: Last but not least, the Pocket camcorder also has a 1.5-inch display, 1GB microSD card, expansion slot, and is available in pearl white with champagne-peach colored trim accents. Retail price will be around $100.

Most of these are already available in retails stores, except the EZ300HD, which will surely be out later this summer.
