Exergaming has become a very popular activity, and it seems exergamers are getting a little carried away at home admittedly causing damage to their living rooms and hurting their pets along the way. A study conducted by Sheilas' Wheels, a women-only insurance company in the UK, found that Wii-Fit gamers are responsible for an overall £20 million worth of home repairs caused by overly enthusiastic workouts taking place in small living rooms.

One fifth of the women polled admitted to bumping into furniture, knocking off television sets, and even pulling a muscle while exergaming. Others said they have at least caused an estimated £6.55 ($10) worth in damage alone. Even their furry friends have been sent flying by high kicks and lunges says the Metro.

Since the Wii Fit hasn't been out for too long, I'm sure these figures account for damage caused by Wii users as a whole. I know playing the Wii can be damaging in a small space, so do tell us what's the worst thing that's happened to you since you've had the Wii Fit.

Some people need to get a life. the wii clearly tells you that you need a bigger space around before most of the games, if they dont want to listen, then it's their fault, and even if its accidently, at least you'll live with yourself knowing that you did what you had to do.

If you don't live in the Arctic or Antarctic regions, you can always go outside to get exercise. If you break something in your own house while playing your own game that you purchased and read the warnings for, so be it. I've broken quite a few things in my life. I never blamed it on the company that made the stuff I was using...
