Maria Sharapova is no stranger to the world of consumer electronics. She endorsed
plenty of Motorola products for some time, and was one
of the first celebrities to own the now famous pink RAZR before anyone else did. Now the beautiful
tennis star is switching teams, and working with Sony Ericsson as a global ambassador.
Her first big assignment was to design a collection of mobile phone accessories
for women. This resulted in the Maria Sharapova Design Collection, which includes
four extremely cute bags: Courtside Case, Exercise Case, Party Bag, and Travel
Wallet. All four designs were unveiled at an exclusive fashion show in London
according to Crave, and expected to be released in the third quarter of 2008. No pricing has been announced
yet, but I'm sure they'll be completely affordable.
