The MacBook Air is one sexy computer, but finding a protective case that won't
swallow it up is not easy. When the MacBook Air was released back in February,
I put together a list of the trendiest MacBook
Air sleeves available at the time. Sure they're all thin and chic, but none
of them really provide the extremely fragile MacBook Air the solid protection
it needs.
Orbino is one of the few companies to design a slim case that's both beautiful and protective. Aria features a high-tech aluminum frame that provides protection for the Macbook Air, as well as an integrated handle so you can carry it like a briefcase. The outside of the case is covered with premium Italian leather that gives it that elegant executive look and feel; and it includes a removable shoulder strap and external bag that holds all the computer accessories such as the power cord. The handcrafted case doesn't come cheap though. It's available to big spenders for $529, in four colors: black, brown, red, and orange.
