Xpress yourself with Nokia's Supernova phones

Most of us are eagerly anticipating the release of the 3G iPhone, but fashionistas going against the iPhone flow now have a few more options from Nokia who released a handful of colorful cell phones. Aimed at style conscious men and women, the Supernova collection features four new phones in bold colors and hip designs that will no doubt make a statement anywhere they go. The Supernova fashion handsets include the Nokia 7310, 7510, 7310, and the 7210.

Here's a quick rundown of each handset:

The 7610 Supernova is not just another pretty phone. As the higher-end model it comes ready with a 3.2-megapixel camera, 8x digital zoom, an MP3 player with a dedicated music key, FM radio, and interchangeable Xpress-On covers in blue, red, or lilac depending on the model. To further customize the phone to your liking, the 7610 includes a Theme Colorizer that lets the user capture a color and apply it to the phone's keypad and wallpaper. Those into widgets can access Nokia WidSets service to add content, and the Nokia Music Store is also accessible for those wishing to add new music to their phone.

The 7510 Supernova clamshell is for the Web savvy fashionistas who want more than a bold color to express their individuality. This phone seems to be packed with both style and functional features such as a 2-megapixel camera, MP3 player, a micro SD card, and a large 2.2 QVGA display. You can quickly access Nokia's web browser to surf the Web, access Flickr, YouTube, and Nokia Maps with free mapping, routing, and local search. As for style, it also comes with Xpress-on covers in blue, red, green, and brown and it features light effects.

If you can't make up your mind about what colors to wear, then the 7310 Supernova is for you. It includes three Xpress-On covers in steel blue, wasabi green, and candy pink, and soon five more colors will be released for purchase. The phone itself sports a 2-megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, TV out, FM radio, and an MP3 player.

Last but not least, the Supernova 7210 is chic, slim, and loaded with a 2-megapixel camera that has access to Flickr, an MP3 player, and an SD memory card slot. It will come in bubble gum pink and vivid blue in a gloss finish. All phones will be available in the second quarter of 2008.
