The official word is the iPhone App Store is launching on July 11, but some of us are hoping Apple will launch it at least a day early in order to give consumers a few days to  preview the 4,000+ widgets expected to be available at launch.

PosiMotion is one of the companies that will be launching a suite of iPhone and iPod Touch applications that revolve around navigation. Its G-Spot application basically turns your iPhone into a GPS by utilizing the iPhone's Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity to track your whereabouts, thus allowing you to share your location with others via email. This application uses a compass to track your latitude and longitude, as well as speed, altitude, date and time of previous locations.

I personally like G-Park, which keeps track of where you parked your car. Once you arrive at your destination, you simply hit the Park Me! button, and let the program keep turn-by-turn directions that'll lead you back to your car when you're ready to leave. Something like this should come in handy when you travel or park in large parking lots.

PosiMotion also plans to launch a social network called G-Life, a mobile GPS network router, and a handful of games such as Solitaire and Backgammon. Both G-Spot and G-Park will be selling for about $1.99.

If you received a refund on your 07 federal tax return via direct deposit, your stimulus check will be direct deposited to the same account, and a lot sooner than July 11. Got mine yesterday! Now I can pay for that $4/gallon gas and make it to my job. WooHoo.

How did any of you pay your bills before? Why are you counting on the government to pay your bills and then get mad when they don't get the money to you soon enough. Half of you don't even know how to spell. Tip: go back to school, get an education and stop relying on the government to help you.

The whole thing is a bunch of bull anyway. If your ead through the FAQ you can see they are looking for any excuse to NOT send out the money until the last possibnle moment and any excuse to not direct deposit it. And by the time anyone gets it (if they get it) no one I know is going to run out and just blow it on some un-needed gadget as the government is hoping...
