Give your iPhone 3G a glam makeover

The new iPhone 3G may be newer and faster, but the black and white plastic back leave much to be desired. Cover it up with a fab case and keep your baby looking immaculate all year long. I gave you a handful of options last month, but more luxurious ones have surfaced since then, so here's another round-up:

Vaja: Vaja has the best iPhone cases out there hands down, and if you're looking for something luxurious this is the place to go. The Argentinean company already offers four cases for the new iPhone 3G that include the classic Retro Slim Bag, iVolution SP, iVolution Top, and the Classic Pouch all handcrafted and made with real full grain cowhide leather. A little pricier than most, but all are under $85.

Gilty Couture Bezel: No phone is complete without a little bling. Gilty Couture is accepting pre-orders for its Swarovski Silhouette Bezel which comes inside its own luxury wardrobe box. This decorative bezel offers no protection whatsoever, but all 138 Swarovski crystals set on a silver plated frame sure look pretty wrapped around your precious iPhone 3G. Think of it as jewelry for your iPhone.

Hot Pink Croc Case: I have a case similar to this one, and I love it. Case-mate's Hot Pink Croc case crafted with Italian leather that wraps around a plastic shell giving the iPhone 3G extra protection. Its simple design allows you to access all the controls on the iPhone, while keeping it scratch- and dent-free. Don't like pink? No worries. A black or brown version are also available for about $45.

Leather Slip Case: Not the most inspiring name out there, but the cases are extremely trendy. More-Thing.com has a handful of cases for the new iPhone 3G, but this one caught my attention because of its colorful pastel patterns. Available in pink, magenta, black and white, the case is made of high quality leather and only costs $20.

Mega Combo: Unless you have a large family, all with iPhones, I really doubt any one person needs the Mega Combo. Nevertheless, the guys over at More-thing.com are selling this silicone case bundle that includes ten cases in every possible color. Each case has a textured surface on the back, and is tear-resistant so you can stretch it over your iPhone until it feels snug. You can purchase each case individually for about $13, but if you're not a one-color man/woman then the combo is for you.
