We know dirty peripherals, such as keyboards and mice, are breeding grounds
for some pretty nasty stuff
like the norovirus, but did you know your cell phone is just as bad? Cell
phones come into contact with dirty hands, icky surfaces, and it's always close
to your mouth, so it's no wonder our face breaks out or worse, we get sick from
the very things that are supposed to make us more productive.
Some of the stuff we read online is enough to make germaphobes out of some of us, so thank goodness someone's listening. Many germ-free gadgets have been coated with stuff that keeps nasty bacteria from growing, others have been made washable, and when all else fails, you can resort to steam cleaning germs away with something like this.
But what do you do if you have an iPhone? How do you keep that grime-magnet germ free?
Crunchgear found an antimicrobial case made by Case-Mate called Second Skin. This sporty four-in-one case comes with three interchangeable accents that complement the solid black antimicrobial case, as well as a screen protector and micro fiber screen cleaning cloth. The site doesn't exactly spell out what exactly makes this colorful case antimicrobial, so we're going to have to take their word for it. For a total of $24.99, you get the germ-fighting bundle for your iPhone, along with some peace of mind, and some decent sleep if this sort of thing keeps you up at night.
