What could possibly make one mouse stand out from the rest? Wait, I know. Why
not make a mouse that docks onto the lid of your notebook? Impossible you say.
Not really. Logitech managed to make this happen with the new V550
Nano Cordless Laser Mouse which includes a "Clip-and-Go dock"
that sticks onto your laptop's lid.
If you're not a fan of your notebook's touchpad, then this new mouse docking solution should come in handy when you're moving from room to room. CNET got their hands on the novelty mouse and says the mouse is a bit bulky, but the receiver is so small it should become the standard. Apparently, the mouse clips onto the dock with no problems, and is fairly secure once docked.
The V550 Nano mouse is bundled up with a tiny USB receiver, a USB extension cable dock for desktop users, AA batteries, docking attachments in black and silver, and a dock removal tool. The company claims two AA batteries will last for a total of 18 months, which should be a good, considering you're already spending $60 on a clip-on travel mouse.
