There are way too may digital photo frames in the market, but this one by LG caught my attention because it doubles as a DVD player. Chip Chick spotted the LG's 8-inch Portable DVD Player and Digital Photo Frame which apparently can store up to 250 photos in its built-in memory, or play images stored in DVDs and CDs.

I've always liked the idea of digital photo frames, but not many people want to spend $200 on something that only plays photo slideshows. With the DP889 you can play movies, and even hook up a gaming console if you don't mind playing games on its 8-inch screen. Since it's got a car charger, you can basically take it on the road like any portable DVD player and keep yourself entertained for hours. This would be a great gift for any college student.

Some other features include audio/video inputs and outputs, memory card slot, USB ports, built-in speakers, and dual headphone jacks. It normally retails for $280, but Circuit City is currently selling them for about $200. I wish my digital photo frame had a DVD option, because right now it's just sitting in a corner collecting dust.
