Didn't take that well-deserved vacation this summer? Now's your chance to get away for a weekend and hopefully at a discounted price. From now until September 14, JetBlue will be auctioning off several vacation packages and 300 roundtrip flights on eBay with opening bids starting at 5 cents according to the airline's website.

During the entire month of September, the airline will be offering weekend flights to Boston, Chicago, New York, Fort Lauderdale and Southern California in three to seven day auctions. Hopefully you have some extra vacation days to spare this month, because all travel must take place before October 6, so do keep that in mind before you start bidding.

Now I don't think the flights include hotel accommodations, but the six JetBlue Getaway Vacation packages do. Four of the mystery package deals are for two people to an undisclosed location that may or may not require passports. The other two packages, which also include airfare and four-night hotel accommodations, will be ideal for those heading to Las Vegas or the Bahamas sometime this month.

If you think you can take some time off from work this month, check out the JetBlue store on eBay and pray you get one of these cool deals at a fairly low price.

Very cool idea, supply and demand economics at it's base.
