Like top fashion designers debuting mobile phones with their signature designs, so are modeling agencies. You've probably heard of Elite Modeling Agency—who is famously known for discovering the likes of Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, and even Cameron Diaz—well this powerhouse agency has bestowed their catwalk-style to mobiles by releasing the eML1 mobile phone in Europe. Dedicated to young girls aspiring to become the next Supermodel, the phone comes in a quaint vanity case that includes a personal hands-free kit, phone pouch and an exclusive DVD from Elite Model Look. As for the phone itself, its rounded square, clamshell design is very different from any phone I've see. Designed to fit in small hands, the eML1's keypad only has six buttons that double-up on the numbers. I can forsee this being a problem for those of us with chubby digits, but then again the phone was created for young girls—and of course waify models. Leave it to a modeling agency to understand the dire need for a good cameraphone. I'm totally impressed by the fact that it has a 3-megapixel camera, since most cameraphones only come with 2-megapixels or less. Are you a Catwalk Queen, or a Techno Geek? What do you think about the whole "fashion meets technology" designer phones?
