Metallica's new album called "Death Magnetic" has been topping the charts worldwide, and the band is celebrating the release of its ninth album by rolling out two sets of Metallica-branded Skullcandy headphones. The limited edition headphones part of the Skullcandy Artist Series will be available as Hesh and Lowrider and their purchase guarantees you a copy of the comeback album that's being hailed as Metallica's best album since the '80s.

If you like your music loud and your cans decorated with death metal art, then you'll probably gravitate towards Metallica Hesh which feature 50mm high explosive power drivers, soft snake skin leather earpads, inline volume control and sound-boosting parabolic ear-cups.

The more demure Lowrider model has a 40 mm power driver, 90 degree swivel DJ-style speakers, and a unique fold-up headband for portability. Look for these Metallicans at the end of month online for a retail price of $70 for Hesh and $50 for Lowrider. BTW, what do you think of the new album? Is it really that good?
