Ladies it's that time again, so get ready to be bombarded by pink gadgets supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month, which happens to be next month. I've seen a few pink products around so I figured it was time to bring some of them to your attention in case you want to get some pink gear for a cause. There are too many products to list, so below I'm highlighting a few items worth mentioning. Let me know in the comments section if you see any other noteworthy products out there.
Jill-e camera bags:
Here's something for those of us who need a roomier, more feminine camera bag.
Woman-owned Jill-e designs has teamed up with the National Breast Cancer Foundation
to offer supporters two stylish camera bags in pink. The
medium and small camera
bag feature weatherproof leather, dual carrying handles, a detachable shoulder
strap, and a matching pouch that holds your personal items separately. The medium
bag is big enough to hold two cameras, several lenses, a flash, and other small
accessories. Both bags are now available on Jill-e.com, and will be until January
2009.
Sony Bundle:
If you're set on buying a pink Sony VAIO SR notebook, HDR-TG1 camcorder
or Walkman this season then head over to Sony Style and help out the National Breast Cancer
Foundation with your purchase. According to the site, the company will donate $75 to BCRF for each
VAIO Pink SR Series Notebook sold, $50 for the HDR-TG1, and $10 for any pink
Walkman NWZE436F that goes out the door. The campaign will start next month so hide your credit
card until then.
Sony
VAIO CR: Another Sony computer taking part in the program is the
Cosmopolitan pink Sony VAIO CR notebook. This notebook features a 14.1-inch
widescreen display, 1.3-megapixel camera, built-in DVD player, Core 2 Duo processor,
a matching pink mouse, and carrying case. The bundle will retail for $970.
Homemedics iPod Speaker: Nothing fancy here, but this speaker-on-the-go case is perfect for any student/teen who needs a cheap pair of speakers for their iPod. The speaker sells for $10, with $1 of each purchase going towards BCRF.
