Everyone wants to look their best when they broadcast online, and for that reason, I Want One of Those is selling a a Hollywood style webcam and spotlight for upcoming YouTube stars. The Hollywood webcam looks like an old school movie camera, and features an LED indicator on the side so you always know when you're streaming live video. It also has a quick capture snapshot button to take pictures, and a flexible arm that allows you to adjust the camera's angle.

To complete your director's setup-up, take a look at the spotlight. One thing I hate about webcam videos is the lack of lighting, so I know this Hollywood-styled USB spotlight will surely give you the edge by shinning a bright light on you as if you were already a Hollywood star. For a softer look, you can should clip color gels (sold separately) onto the barn doors, or move the doors in or out to control the flow of light. The spotlight plugs right into any USB port on your computer for power, and is also adjustable thanks to its flexible stand.

No software installation is needed, but both items require Windows XP, Vista or Mac OS 10.4.8 to operate smoothly. Each item sells separately, and is available over at I Want one of Those. You can purchase the webcam for $18 and the spotlight for about $9.

Cute, but can a USB port really supply enough power for decent lighting? Might be better to go to a camera store and buy some purpose-built video lighting. Also pickup a book on video lighting - for most scenes, you'll want more than a single source of light, and the books explain how various angles and colors can make a difference.
