Various
blogs are
reporting that Sony Ericsson has launched a "Sex and the City" cell
phone for fans of the show. You'd think the limited editon handset would at
least be available in hot pink, but it's not. Instead, a rather plain W350i
comes with a memory stick preloaded with wallpapers, the movie's official soundtrack,
and a video song called "Labels or Love" by Fergie.
The W350i handset itself features a media player, external music controls, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and a 1.9-inch display. I'm not sure Carrie would approve of the rather plain Ivory White handset with no crystals or color, but I'm sure fans of the popular TV series will appreciate the preloaded goodies that come inside the memory stick. Pricing and U.S. launch details have not been confirmed, but I hear you should expect this phone in stores before the holidays.
What do you think? Do you think Sony Ericsson could've done a better job here?
