Sonoro's Elements alarm-clock radios are a little on the pricey side, but their
minimalist design makes them so attractive. The radios usually sport a very
high-gloss finish, top mounted speaker, AM/FM radio, iPod connections, and
a large LED-illuminated metal ring with quick-touch volume and tuning controls.
You'll usually find this type of high-end radio for around $250 online, but the company recently went all out and dipped the radio in black and white Swarovski crystals for the fashion-conscious consumer "who wants to accentuate their living space with glamour and shine." If that's you, then you'll like the limited edition Sonoro Elements Stardust radio currently being sold exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue.
The difference between the two radios consists of almost 4,000 hand-laid Swarovski crystals that form a twisting, tattoo-style vine running down the top and side of the radio. This special version of the radio retails for $2,500, which is shockingly 10 times more its non-Swarovski counterpart!
The crystal look definitely suits the Sonoro Elements, but it's completely ridiculous for anyone to pay more for crystals than the actual device, rich or not. What do you think?

They are building islands with mansions on them, so why not?? It is adorable and I would love to have one. Most of the folks who would ever buy this shiny radio still can
