Do you just wish there was an easier way to exchange numbers or URLs with people you just met? W-41's clothing is trying to make the exchange a lot easier by affixing digital barcodes to its products that summon the wearer's personal website or social network profile when scanned. In theory, anytime someone scans the barcode with a mobile phone, the phone's browser immediately goes to the associated site (MySpace, Facebook) making it easier for them to connect with you immediately.

The problem with this method is that a W-41 application needs to be installed on your friend's phone in order for this logo to recognized. Otherwise, the picture you've taken is useless. The company sells t-shirts and sweatshirts for both men and women, but it would be a lot cooler if they sold everyday items like handbags or keychains with your codes too.

Hopefully, something like this becomes available in the U.S. soon because it would be a great way to tag personal gear in case it gets lost. You can buy W-41 products for anywhere between $40-$50.
