We've all been in those awkward situations where we just hope and pray for
a phone call intervention. There are services out there that can help you schedule
a fake phone call, but if you have an iPhone a 99 cent application called
Fake Calls can also do the trick and do it better. PC
World says the application doesn't use any of your airtime because it only
simulates an incoming call that looks like the real thing.
Fake Calls lets you customize the caller's name, phone number, wallpaper, ringtone, and you can even set the time you want to receive the call. If you decline the call, it will call you again which makes the interruption seem a little more urgent and genuine. The application is already available on iTunes, so go download it now before your next blind date or holiday party. It just might save you from wasting a perfectly good evening with a complete nut job.
