The iPod is a powerful entertainment device that can hold music, podcasts,
audiobooks, and movies. The problem is the screen is too small to watch an entire
movie or TV show on it so people end up buying
accessories to enlarge what's on the screen. Believe me, there are plenty
of them out there, but the Nano
TV is probably the most charming of them all.
Styled to look like a TV/VCR combo, the Nano TV increases the size of your iPod's screen by magnifying it up to 2.8-inches, and amplifies the volume by playing sound through its built-in speakers. It works with most 3rd generation iPod nano's only, which is probably a good thing since that screen is only 2-inches.
It looks a bit bulky to travel with, but I'm sure your kids will love something like this in their bedroom. You can buy one for $23 over at Thumbs Up, although right now they seem to be out of stock. This would make an excellent stocking stuffer, wouldn't it?
