YouTube recently announce it will be adding full-length TV shows like "90210," "MacGyver," and "Star Trek" to its library thanks to a deal it signed with CBS. Today, YouTube is expected to announce it will also be adding full-length movies to the list after teaming up with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios according to the New York Times.

The news site reports the two will kick off this partnership by posting action films like "Bulletproof Monk" and "The Magnificent Seven," as well as short clips from "Legally Blonde." You can watch these movies for free on the official MGM channel, but you will have to put up with a few ads that will running alongside the video.

Now it's not clear how many MGM movies will appear on YouTube after the launch, but  Jim Packer, MGM’s co-president, did say the studio was rolling out content slowly on the site, and didn't expect to have more than 30 or 40 movies up at once.

This definitely gives TiVo owners more reasons to tune into the YouTube channel, especially if they can watch full-length TV shows and movies on their big screen TVs. A YouTube executive says the company is working on more digital deals with Sony and Time Warner, so hopefully we'll get to see more studio content on the video sharing site next year.
