Using my notbook for a very long time hurts my neck, so I've been looking for
a portable laptop stand that
I can use on the road. I actually have a few at home, but they're all too
big or bulky to take along with me. I'm still waiting for a laptop stand
for my netbook, because surfing the web on that tiny screen can be a nightmare.
Gizmag
spotted the Cricket Stand, which as you can see from the picture, folds up and
is compact enough to fit in your handbag. The collapsible Cricket Stand unfolds
to reveal three adjustable prongs that hold any computer of any size as long
as it's under 12 pounds.
You can adjust the height to any of the six height adjustments to improve the airflow around your computer, and best of all you won't hurt your neck. I would recommend buying one of those roll-up flexible keyboards too if you plan to work from the road.
The stand is available in white and green for around $40. You can buy one here.
