Checkpoint friendly bags for her

Mobile Edge announced plans to release three new 'checkpoint friendly' laptop bags for women called ScanFast for Her just in time for the busy travel season. These TSA approved bags were created for frequent travelers, and designed to speed up the airport security process by omitting certain things in the design like hidden pockets, and metal clasps that might set off the alarm.

There are a few checkpoint friendly bags already out there that meet TSA specifications, but none of them were designed specifically for women. Mobile Edge's new collection includes the Onyx ScanFast Briefcase, the Onyx ScanFast Backpack and a redesigned Element Briefcase.

These three feminine bags feature things like faux-croc accents, poly-suede, and faux-leather trim. Some of them even include a Wireless Security Shield compartment that's supposed to protect you against Bluetooth attacks and spammers along the way. These laptop bags fit 15.4-inch laptops, and seem to have exterior pockets for your extra accessories.

My favorite is the ScanFast Element briefcase which will be available in three color combinations of chocolate brown, forest green and passion pink. All three bags will begin shipping later this month, and will retail for about $100.
