Star Wars gadgets never go out of style. If someone on your list is a hardcore Star Wars fan, then I suggest you take a look at some of the items below. They are out of this world.
Darth Vader Toaster:
Get one of these to wake up to Darth Vader toast every morning. The sleek black
toaster features a Star Wars logo on the outside, and leaves an imprint of Darth
Vader's evil mug on the bread. You decide how black you want his face to be.
This nerdy toaster will set you back about $55, but seeing your kid's face light
up at breakfast will be priceless.
Darth Vader USB Hub: This one is actually a little creepy. You can plug in up to four USB devices and watch it turn its head side-to-side as it makes those strange Darth Vader sound effects with glowing red eyes. This little Star Wars device will retail for about $60 when it goes on sale in December.
R2D2
Fishtank: Who better than R2D2 to look after your fish? The lovable droid
holds a 1 3/4-gallon aquarium tank in its belly ideal for your small fish, and
features overhead LED tank lights that change colors randomly. The dome head
has a neat built-in periscope that allows you to watch your fish as they swim
by. For added effect, R2D2's head rotates with any vocal command as he utters
familiar Star Wars lingo. You can purchase this tank for $130 over at Hammacher
Schlemmer.
TIE Fighter Advanced webcam: Webcams are so boring, unless you have one of these. The TIE Fighter Advanced X1 webcam captures sound and video and is light enough to sit on the edge of your monitor. Being that it's a Star Wars gadget, you can expect it to make beeping sound effects and light up when it's in use. This is one cool webcam made for true fans.
R2D2
Skype kit: This is an impressive Star Wars Skype-compatible bundle. The
R2D2 wireless webcam stands 8-inches tall and has wheels that allow you to move
it remotely. You could be on the other side of the world, and still able to
drive it around your house to see what's going on. The lightsaber-shaped USB
phone allows you make calls through Skype and doubles as a remote control for
R2D2.Unfortunately, this bundle doesn't come cheap so expect to pay at least
$400 for it.
