Vacuum cleaners are not supposed to look this good, but Dirt Devil has managed to change the way the handheld vacuum cleaner looks with the help of Karim Rashid. His Designer Series includes great stuff like BRUM, KURV, KONE, and now KWIK.

KWIK is the handheld computer vac for geeks. What I liked about, it aside from looking great on my desk, is that it was able to pick up crumbs, dust, and other stuff in hard to reach spaces.

My keyboard is a good example. I usually turn the keyboard over or pop the keys off to clean it, but the KWIK vac has a tiny brush and crevice tool that fits between the keys and picks up crumbs with ease.

The design of the hand vac made it easy to use and handle, but I especially like how it has a place for its two small attachments on one end. This helped me keep all the parts together, and accessible at all times.

On the downside, the hand vac is USB powered, so that could be a problem if you don't have many available ports on your computer. I also wish KWIK was more powerful and capable of picking up dirt faster, and perhaps a little more quiet. It's a nice gift for the clean freak on your list, and best of all, you can find it for under $30 at places like Best Buy, Target, and Bed, Bath & Beyond.
