Many handbags today come with hidden pockets for your MP3 player, but BagTV takes the concept a step further by integrating a whole portable DVD player into the stylish handbag. As you can see from the picture, BagTV features a special viewing window on one side that exposes the DVD player's 7-inch LCD screen so you can watch movies on-the-go or keep the kids entertained on those long trips.

It also doubles as a digital photo frame or music player, and features a stand, a USB port, SD card slot, headphone jack, and Video In/Out connections. It may not be a huge innovation, but the bag includes a flap to cover the screen when you're not using, which should also keep you from getting mugged.

The gals over at Shiny Shiny reviewed BagTV in this video, and point out that the design of the handbag doesn't make it easy for you to access the headphone jack located at the bottom of the player. Not only that, but I should also mention that the $400 handbag sells without the DVD player. That means that If you don't have your own, you'll have to shell out an extra $200 to buy one.

Thankfully, BagTV is only available in London and comes in many colors including black, pink, tan, and white.

So gals, what do you think of BagTV? Would you ever consider getting one if the price was right?

I might get one if the DVD player was light weight enough. The little player I have now is too heavy to carry around all of the time just for the convenience of watching DVD's, I'd rather carry a book and read it.

I think this is the stupidist and unpractical as they come. Come on now, just how far are we going to go with allthis crazy technology. Adults will not want to do their jobs at work and if kids get a hold of them, you know they wont do what they are supposed to do in school....ridiculous. Go ahead and keep it in London, don't bring it to the U.S.
