Ever wonder what type of gadgets get young celebrities excited? Karen Wood, Founder of Backstage Creations, tells me the gadgets below were hot items at the Teen Choice awards earlier this year. Young celebrities like Jordin Sparks, JoJo, David Archuleta, Jonas Brothers, and The Cheetah Girls had a great time playing with these toys at their celebrity retreat. If you're still looking for last minute Christmas gifts for teens on your list, then check out the list below for inspiration.

Girl Tech Stylin' Studio: Trying a new look is always nerve-wrecking, unless you get a digital makeover first. Girl Tech's Stylin' Studio is the safe way to give yourself and your friends a virtual makeover without the long term commitment that comes with changing your hairstyle. This studio comes with some high-tech tools including a fun touchpad controller with a built-in digital camera and stylus pen to help you select your looks. Once you upload your picture (or take one with the digital camera) you can experiment with different hairstyles, makeup, clothes, accessories, and even backgrounds. Now all you have to do is save the picture, and upload it to your Facebook profile. Karen tells me celebs like The Clique Girlz, Jordin Sparks, Danity Kane, and The Cheetah Girls all got virtual makeovers with this tool at the Teen Choice Awards earlier this year. You can pick up this studio at Kmart, Target, Amazon, or Walmart. Check out the online version for Stylin' Studio here if you're curious.

Raving Rabbids TV Party: If you like party games, then you'll love Raving Rabbids TV Party. This game offers Wii lovers a series a mini-games that can be enjoyed with the entire family. This is the third game in the Rabbids series that involves plenty of wacky challenges that'll make you dance, sing, play instruments, and think fast if you want win. Best of all, you can use the Wii Fit's Balance Board to play this game with your buttocks. Teen stars like the Jonas Brothers, KayCee Stroh, Channing Tatum, Chad Michael Murray, and Jordin Sparks are all fans of the game.

Tamagotchi Connection: Tamagotchi are great stocking stuffers! If you can't get your teen a cute little kitten for Christmas, then consider getting them the most beloved virtual pet since 1997. The new Tamagotchi Connection game lets you raise multiple characters at the same time which evolve differently depending on how well they're taken care of. You can play games with them, feed them, and nurse them back to health when they get sick. The redesigned house-shaped Tamagotchi includes an IR sensor so you can connect with others, and includes a special password that allows you to spend time in Tama Town where you can meet and hang out with Tamagotchi fans from around the world. Brenda Song and other teen stars just love this cute virtual companion.

Secret Diary: Blogs and social profiles are great, but a girl's gotta have her secrets. This hack-proof digital diary is a flash drive loaded with fun software to keep teens busy chronicling their life in private. The diary's interface looks like real diary, except teens can change the way it looks, and add photos with doodles. It also contains fun programs that analyzes dreams, gives them advice, and reveals their mood. The flash drive has a numeric keypad so only teens with the secret pin-code can access the contents of the diary.
