The more I look at these Hulger handsets, the more I want one. Remember those old school phone receivers you grew up with? Well they're back, but this time, you can take them with you since they connect to your cell phone. Instead of looking towards the future for inspiration, Hulger drew inspiration from the past, and created the first retro-receiver headset.

Their first prototype P*Phones was born when they bought old phones, and soldered hands-free kits to the end of receivers. They sold like hot pancakes on eBay, and before they knew it, they were all over the news as the new trendsetters of cool.

Hulger's new collection is even better with graffiti-styled designs by Monorex, and I hear they're also planning to release Bluetooth ready headsets that will work with Skype.

Hmmmm, on the one hand, you can look very Star Trekkey wearing one of the new Bluetooth headset models, or you can look retro cool with a Hulger. Tough call, but it's all about going against the flow, so I am going for a retro cool look.
