I've always liked flip phones because they're just easier to talk into, but all that may be changing soon, thanks to phones like the Pantech C300, that make even the RAZR look big in your hands.
Cingular introduced a new model by South Korea's Pantech to attract users to their latest GoPhone prepaid lineup. The Pantech C300 claims to be the "World's Smallest Camera Flip Phone."
I'm intrigued by this tiny clamshell that sports a color display, VGA camera with flash, SMS/MMS/IM client, and photo caller ID. It measures 2.72 inches tall, 1.69 inches wide and .86 inches thick when the flip is closed making it slightly thicker than the RAZR (3.9 x 2.1 x 0.5 inches) or an iPod nano (3.5 x 1.6 x 0.27 inches)—Pantech did say it's the smallest, not the thinnest, flip phone.
The bad news is that you'll have to pay $119.99 for a phone that's offered for the GoPhone plans only—and doesn't include service. I wonder if Cingular will offer any discounts in the future?
Going to the Cingular site, I see the GoPhone plans start at $29.99 per month and don't require annual contracts, credit checks, or deposits. For more details on the GoPhone plans, you can check out the Cingular web site.

I have this phone and I love it. Besides being incredibly small, it also offers many features that I have never seen on another phone, such as inserting frames to your pictures and a sub-lcd picture mode, making it very simple to take self-portraits. I totally recommend it to anyone. P.S., it doesn't ONLY work as a Go-Phone, it works with any smart chip.
The Pantech is now available for all Cingular plans I purchased one for $69.99 when renewing my 2 yr contract last week, if this cost applies to all I do not know, I had six months left on my current contract and just wanted one of these awesome little phones. The Pantech has excellent features and for those who do not like belt clips or cases it fits easily into a shirt or pants pocket, actually not much bigger than a Zippo lighter.
I have this phone. It is just great and offers many great features, and best of all, it's small! I can put it in my smallest pocket and I don't have to worry if it will fit or not. I love the camera feature with the multishot, and the voice recorder, ringtones and everything else! This phone is a 10/10!!
Oh! and to shanda-walker... Smaller is better to only some people not everybody

I have a question for you. When did smaller become better?
