Print Lovin' on Your Toast

You might remember the "Virgin Mary" cheese sandwich that caused quite a stir when it sold on eBay for $28,000. Well, last week I stumbled upon the Holy Toast miracle bread stamper, a plastic stamp that leaves a Virgin Mary impression on toast.

I know people create food sculptures all the time, but I think a toast stamping club may be forming somewhere out there.

Adam over at Sci-Fi Tech says the Zuse is the wave of the future. This conceptual toaster printer burns black and white pictures onto pieces of toast. It can mount on any wall, and is automatically activated when you slide in a slice of bread.

Unfortunately, it only prints abstract pictures held in its memory, but Adam says he would like to see it do some toast messaging.

Now that companies are using text messages to fire employees, I think one less texting device is a better idea. I sure wouldn't want a picture of Donald Trump doing his cobra hand thingie on my toast.

I love toast, but I'm not sure we need to have images printed on it. What do you think?

Leave things as they are. I like to eat without having messages staring up at me during breakfast.

I think there is no point to the toaster. If your going to eat it, why not just toast it, butter it up and enjoy it...WITHOUT a face looking back at me or my husband telling me to take out the trash.

Instead of firing by text, they can fire by toast. "Smith, you're toast!" As they hand him a piece of toast.

I really didn't like the one I was given. You had to almost burn the opposite side to get the imprint brown. A cool gadget you can't wait to have and never use, yep!

As sad as it sounds, I would love to be able to put anything I wanted on my toast. It would entertain my for hours. Just imagine being able to get up on a saturday morning and having fun making toast. It's genius really.

I'm all for new ideas and new technology. I think it's cool...Who said everything needs to be practical. Practical gets boring...

Ewe, it's just plain dirty to leave burnt bread on your wall and call it art. Will it soon be fashionable to paint with pb&j? I am all for eating toast with pictures but hanging that metal contraption on the wall and waiting for it to scorch stuff isn't my bag.

I think it's awesome yet renders very useless. Shouldn't we be trying to find a cure for AIDS???

I'm going to invent a toaster insert to imprint funny faces on whole wheat toast...hoping the kids will then eat it! lol

I honestly believe this is an amazing marketing gadget. Imagine restaurants being able to print their own name or logo, hotels hosting conventions, being able to display their name or logo on toast. Being able to add your own name or logo on the fly would make this thing valuable.

If it doesn't have a true purpose, I don't want any part of it... I am about simplicity!

Personally i feel like this gadget is a waste of time.. i mean come on.. all anyone is going to do is eat the toast anyway!!.. LOL
