Print Lovin' on Your Toast

You might remember the "Virgin Mary" cheese sandwich that caused quite a stir when it sold on eBay for $28,000. Well, last week I stumbled upon the Holy Toast miracle bread stamper, a plastic stamp that leaves a Virgin Mary impression on toast.

I know people create food sculptures all the time, but I think a toast stamping club may be forming somewhere out there.

Adam over at Sci-Fi Tech says the Zuse is the wave of the future. This conceptual toaster printer burns black and white pictures onto pieces of toast. It can mount on any wall, and is automatically activated when you slide in a slice of bread.

Unfortunately, it only prints abstract pictures held in its memory, but Adam says he would like to see it do some toast messaging.

Now that companies are using text messages to fire employees, I think one less texting device is a better idea. I sure wouldn't want a picture of Donald Trump doing his cobra hand thingie on my toast.

I love toast, but I'm not sure we need to have images printed on it. What do you think?

Who needs a picture of "whatever" on their toast? My gosh, just eat the toast! Put your "art" on a canvas not toast. Soon kids will be playing with her character toast. Toast it and eat it, that's the way to go.

Next thing you know, the biggest thing will be Lithium Fueling technology and the Enterprise will be built. Then... we can truly say, I will boldly go where no man has gone before.

I think I'll wait until they get this particular technology working properly so the toast is actually edible. Some people can create actual art from everyday things. For those who don't understand it, that doesn't make it any less artistic!

I think that it's a form of art and should be given a chance

The question that should be asked here is 'what is art?'. It's a rhetorical question if toast is anywhere in the answwer.

That's just what we need. More useless junk on the market. Let's spend our money on more meaningful things not something that will just sit around and collect dust.

This is very amazing! I can't wait to buy one, so i can eat toast and look at the pictures that are on the toast. Thank you for the information about this! I wrote about it in my current events. Again, thank you for the information!!!!

When I was in college about four years ago, I did the same thing for my senior art project. Except I used a real 1950's toaster and cooler images. I'm pretty sure I'm not the first person to put images on toast, but it was definitely before it got popular. The Winnie-the-Pooh toaster came out about a year after my art show, by the way, I laughed when I saw it.

I used to have a plastic impression for putting on the slice of bread before toasting and it said"Good Morning" or another said "I Love You".Does anybody knows where I can get those?
