You guessed it, this article is for soccer Dads eagerly awaiting the 2006 FIFA World Cup, a month-long event that pits the world's most extraordinary soccer teams against each other.
If your Dad is not a soccer fan, then look forward to the upcoming Father's Day goodies we have in store for ya. But if your Dad has been setting up shop in the living room to watch this soccer mega-tournament, then share in his enthusiasm for the sport and add a sporty twist to this Father's Day.
Since this month-long tourney overlaps with Father's Day, I thought I'd give you some gift ideas to take care of two birds with one stone.
Here are my gift guide ideas for those sporty Soccer Dads:
If you're feeling super-duper-generous, you could get him one of the 600 golden FIFA World Cup Editon Toshiba Dynabooks engraved with the FIFA World Cup Trophy, but I doubt anyone could afford one, unless their name happens to be Donald Trump (he likes gold).
You could also go for a sports meets kitsch gift like the beer guzzler hat or a voice changer, but I'll leave that to your own discretion.
Dad also works hard for the money, so celebrate his day with gifts he can use all year round. Hey, if you can't afford any of this stuff, use your imagination. The sky is the limit.
Happy Soccer Father's Day!
