Sony Vamps Up PSP in Three New Colors

While Americans have to endure the pain of waiting for the PSP to arrive in different colors, European gamers can now nab a limited edition P!nk PSP value pack bundled with white headphones, a remote control, wrist strap, 32MB memory card, and a special UMD featuring videos of rock rebel Pink, of course. I told you back in August this limited edition Pink PSP would be released sometime in late October—and it has. So any guys planning a trip to Europe before the holidays may want to snatch one up for their girlfriends. Believe me, you will score major brownie points!

But if you're headed to Japan for business or pleasure, then hook him/her up with a blue or silver PSP. Akihabara News has the lowdown on Sony's plans to release three PSP colors between November 22 and December 21 in Japan for 20,790 yen ($178 USD), just in time for the holiday season. I think we all know getting your hands on a PS3 will be next to impossible this season, so if you're within close proximity of a metallic blue PSP, I suggest you break out the credit card sooner than you can say "charge it."

What delights me the most is the couture pink Samantha Thavasa purse that perfectly fits the pink—or black—PSP. According to the press release, all those frilly charms are sold separately from the handbag, and let's just say that Samantha's handbags aren't necessarily cheap either. To be honest, I've never even heard of Ms. Thavasa, so I headed over to 3Yen, who says Samantha is the "the next choice" to the must-have Louis Vuitton handbag—and comes with a high price to prove it.
