ASUS is partnering with Prada to bring the rich and privileged an ultraportable designer laptop like no other. Not sure why the notebook is pink, since I thought black and red were Prada's signature colors. Regardless, this special occasion is certainly nothing to get too excited about. Why? Because I know I won't be one of the lucky 50 Singaporeans (or Singapore tourists) who'll get their hands on one this Christmas season.
Can you believe only 50 laptops will be released? According to CNET ASIA, this is due to the year-long process of bonding handpicked leather onto the aluminum chassis. If the process took any longer, they'd be producing enough leather-bonded notebooks to put up in museums.
Despite the limited availability of these notebooks, I'm glad the prices aren't ridiculous. It's hard to believe that such a rare Prada ASUS S6F laptop is only selling for $2,300 dollars. If you want to be the envy of your office, you'd better start connecting with your Singaporean friends before December. It's a great price for a limited-edition Prada laptop with Core Duo, a 120GB hard drive, 11.1 inch widescreen display, and 1GB RAM.

i'd love to get my hands on one of these, but then again they're a rip off for not being the best laptop and costing way more than any other decent one
