PS3 Madness Begins

This is probably not the best news to follow my "Beating The Holiday Blues" post, but I just had to tell you. The fine gamers you see in this picture are a great example of how to go above and beyond the call of duty to avoid the holiday blues. They have recognized the one trigger that could set them off into the deep blue sea of depression, and decided it wasn't going to happen to them—or someone on eBay. We're still nine days away from the release of the Playstation 3 in America, and they're already standing in line at a Best Buy. Nine days people!

These pictures were taken by a passerby, and posted over at a CheapAss Gamer forums. You can see them in greater detail there and notice they have chairs, coolers, and other bare essentials. So that's what you're up against. I'm sure the lines are going to be beyond ridiculous next week when the PS3 arrives in stores. At least you'll have a better chance of getting the Wii two days later.

You gotta admire their moxie. Good luck men!
