Has the iPod stunned gadget innovation? Every day we see more iPod accessories than stand-alone gadgets saturating the market. In recent years, we've seen thousands of adapters that promise to turn your iPod into a multifunctional gadget. These players can be used as pedometers, voice recorders, dictionaries, or handy GPS guides, with the right software or attachment.
Now that the iPod has video capabilities, it appears the possibilities are endless. You can easily hook it up with AV cables to your television to watch your movie downloads on the big screen, or you can wait for the iProjector to hit stores next year. The upcoming ION Audio iProjector features a docking station exclusively for iPods (nano, video, and photo) that will output video at 800 x 600 resolution. The good news is that it also includes video inputs for other devices such as game consoles, DVD players, and computers. ION Audio will be unveiling the iProjector at CES 2007, so no pricing is available just yet.
