Have you ever had a song stuck in your head all day and can't remember who sings it? A new search engine/social network is going to make your search a little easier. Midomi lets you search for music by singing or humming part of the song. If you don't like the idea of singing or humming, you can also enter keywords, so don't sweat it. To search by voice, simply plug in a microphone and start belting out that tune. The search engine provides you with matching results that include recordings by other users, as well as links to the original song, which you can purchase for 99 cents.
Becoming a member has its perks too. After signing up for a free account, you'll be able to rate other singers, buy music, and connect with a community of music fans just like you. If you have the talent and courage, you too can record your own masterful renditions of your favorite tunes to get rated by others, American Idol style.
