Samsung is really stepping outside the box. At CES, I was impressed with their awesome collection of Ultra mobile phones—especially their Ultra Music and Ultra Video models—and if a Wireless Plasma doesn't impress you, I don't know what will. I honestly couldn't stop snapping pictures of all the innovative electronica encased at their booth, especially of those only available in Asia and Europe. It's nice to see what they actually look like.

Today, Samsung gives us a heads up on a couple of digital cameras expected in retail stores this Spring:

Samsung L74 Wide: This seven megapixel camera offers world travelers one very fascinating feature, a Tour Guide function that provides them with travel information of up to 4,500 regions in 30 countries. The camera also captures panoramic pictures thanks to a wide-angle lens, includes face recognition technology, a 3-inch touch screen LCD, in-camera movie editing features, and 450MB of internal memory. The camera will retail for $349.99 this Spring.

Samsung NV11: This point-and-shoot ten megapixel digital camera is equipped with 5x optical zoom, face recognition technology, a 2.7 inch LCD, and an intuitive Smart Touch user interface for easy navigation. The camera will retail for $399.99 this Spring.

I couldn't find any English press releases on the upcoming Samsung i7, but Engadget says the digital camera will feature a 7.2 megapixel resolution, a rotating three-inch LCD screen, integrated MP3 player capabilities, 3x optical zoom, video, and Advanced Shake Reduction technology. This is probably the most exciting camera I've seen so far, but at this point it's unclear whether we can also expect it in America along with the other two.
